In Europe, there are those who rebel against NATO and US impositions, the dominion of capital, war policies, and the scourge of poverty. From the realms of politics, academia, journalism and the arts…
Here, we present 30 figures, whose voices cannot be confined within the so-called “freedom of expression” boundaries of Europe, showcasing their qualities that “transcend these boundaries”.
Robert Fico / Prime Minister of Slovakia
He opposes arms delivery to Ukraine, criticizes sanctions on Russia and raises his voice against US policies in Europe. On May 16, 2024, he was tried to be “silenced” through a typical “Gladio” type armed attack.
Viktor Orban / Prime Minister of Hungary
He criticizes NATO’s influence in Europe, discusses his country’s possible exit from NATO, calls for the lifting of sanctions on Russia and limits foreign funds and LGBT activities.
Aleksandar Vucic / President of Serbia
He advocates for friendship with China and Russia, refuses to join sanctions on Russia and aims to align Serbia’s development with China’s strategic Belt and Road Initiative.
Gerhard Schröder / Former Chancellor of Germany
Schröder stated, “We bombed the independent state of Yugoslavia in 1999 together with NATO without a UN Security Council resolution” and the “US blocked peace initiative in Ukraine”. As a result, the mainstream media recently labeled him as “Putinist”. He was removed from his office in the Bundestag last year and his expulsion from the SPD party is under discussion. Schröder avoids war rhetoric and refuses to utter the phrase “Russia and Putin are our enemies”.
Marine Le Pen / Leader of the National Rally
Marine Le Pen, leader of the National Rally Party (RN), defends national sovereignty and economic patriotism against the impositions of the European Union. Known as a friend of Russia, Le Pen opposes Macron’s warmongering, the supply of heavy weapons to Ukraine, and sending troops there. President Macron spreads fears of a “civil war” if Le Pen’s party wins the general elections. Prime Minister Gabriel Attal accuses her of advocating for a “military alliance with Russia” and Green Party’s leader Marie Toussaint calls her a “Russian agent”. Social democrat Raphael Glucksmann accuses RN of being a “Fifth Column” for Russia.
Maximilian Krah – One of the leaders of the AfD
Maximilian Krah, who was the lead candidate for Alternative for Germany (AfD) in the European elections, supports German sovereignty against the US and advocates for friendship with Russia and China. He calls for the abandonment of economic sanctions on Russia and the development of relations between Germany and the Eurasian Economic Union. AfD strongly supports China’s New Silk Road initiative.
Sahra Wagenknecht – Leader of the BSW Party
Wagenknecht is labeled as “pro-Putin” by her former party, the mainstream media and other parties for stating that “sanctions on Russia harm the German economy and people”, “the solution is not arms but diplomacy”, and “the interests of Germany and the US do not overlap”. During the European Parliament election period, ARD and ZDF television did not invite the BSW party to their programs.
Jacques Cheminade / Leader of the French Solidarité et Progrès Party
Jacques Cheminade, leader of the French Solidarité et Progrès (Solidarity and Progress) Party, advocates for France’s withdrawal from NATO and the EU and proposes a new Bretton Woods system to free the world from the hegemony of financial capital.
Thierry Baudet / Leader of the Dutch Forum for Democracy Party
Thierry Baudet, leader of the Forum for Democracy (FVD) party, is known for his anti-EU and NATO stance and criticism of COVID-19 pandemic policies. Baudet argues the world is being controlled by a “minority elite”. A book he co-authored with liberal leftist Geert Mak sparked intense debates. Last year, Baudet was physically attacked by a Ukrainian assailant with an “orange umbrella”.
Christoph Hörstel / Leader of the Die Neue Mitte Party
Hörstel attempted to publicly reveal CIA involvement in the 9/11 attacks. He was labeled as a “conspiracy theorist” for this. Hörstel praised Turkish citizens for voting for President Erdoğan and analyzed that “the US supports pro-Western Kurds and Sunnis in northern Syria to take control of the region’s oil”. He claims Israel is the only “terror power” in West Asia and is committing genocide.
Yanis Varoufakis / Former Greek Finance Minister
Varoufakis was banned from attending the Palestine Congress in Berlin in April and speaking at the University of Economics. He is also temporarily banned from entering Germany. Varoufakis, one of the founders of the “Progressive International”, tried to prevent the IMF from entering Greece, criticized the US at a conference in Cuba and worked on alternatives to dollar hegemony.
Karin Kneissl / Former Austrian Foreign Minister
Kneissl was expelled from Austria and Europe” and now resides in Lebanon. She says she can express her thoughts in Lebanon freely. She also teaches at a university in St. Petersburg, where she says, “you can discuss and talk about anything independently of ideologies”. The former minister was criticized and targeted in Austria for being “close to Putin” and a “KGB agent”. Her books were boycotted in 2020 and she was banned from teaching and working. Kneissl was interrogated at Vienna airport upon returning from Russia. During her time writing for Russia Today, she faced “hate campaigns” and “death threats”.
George Galloway / Member of the UK Parliament
George Galloway, a new member of the UK Parliament, accuses the British government of participating in the massacre in Gaza and sending weapons and ammunition to Israel through military bases in Cyprus. Galloway criticizes both the opposition Labour Party and the ruling party. He caught attention with his remark “Are Israeli pilots stopping at the base in Cyprus for a smoke and coffee break, or are they loading bombs onto planes to bomb civilians in an open-air prison? Are our planes identifying targets in Israel and sharing intelligence with them?”
Mateusz Piskorski / Polish Politician, Writer
Piskorski is known for his stance against the US and neoliberal globalization. He advocates for Poland to have friendly relations with Russia. Piskorski supported the March 16, 2014, referendum in Crimea where about 95% of voters opted to join Russia. In the new situation created by Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, Piskorski took a clear anti-NATO stance, blaming NATO’s eastward expansion policy for the war. Piskorski also introduced Alexander Dugin’s “Great Awakening Manifesto” and “Writings of War” to Poland. He also emphasizes the importance of Türkiye for a multipolar world and advocates for strengthening relations between Poland and Türkiye.
Mick Wallace / Irish Politician
Wallace, particularly during his time as a Member of the European Parliament, strongly criticized NATO alongside fellow Irish MP Clare Daly, labeling it as a vicious military pact” and a “destructive war machine”. Mick Wallace claims that most media in Europe is “bought by the American empire”. The Irish socialist keeps NATO’s “war machine” responsible for the war in Ukraine, arguing that the war is aimed at “strengthening NATO’s presence in Europe” and “replacing Russian oil with American oil”. Wallace protested the resolutions in the European Parliament condemning Russia.
Willy Wimmer / German Politician, Former OSCE Vice President
For years, Willy Wimmer has criticized German governments’ relationships with the US. Wimmer thinks that “being a puppet of the US, waging war against Yugoslavia, and being hostile towards Russia is weakening Germany’s reputation worldwide”. He also made the following striking statement: “In 2014, with our contribution, the US carried out a coup in Ukraine’s Maidan. The US has drawn a line from the Baltic states in the north to Diyarbakır in Türkiye and it considers the western side of this line under its own sovereignty”. Mainstream media, which has shut its doors to him, is propagating Wimmer as “ultra-nationalist” and “conspiracy theorist”.
Harald Kujat / Retired German General
Haral Kujat said that the Russia-Ukraine peace talks in Istanbul in March 2022 were sabotaged and that negotiations should have been continued instead of war. He has been outspoken in saying that “the US negotiates with Russia whenever it wants, but this is ‘forbidden’ to other countries”. Kujat made striking comments on a program on Servus TV:
“The combination of Russian resources and German technology is a great threat to the US” and “Wars are desired not by the people, but by the ruling classes”.
Wolfgang Effenberger / German Author, former Soldier
Former officer Effenberger, known for his books on the EU and NATO, geo-imperialism and new fascism, argues that the EU and NATO are not organizations of peace and defense, but rather of “warmongering and aggression”. In one of his presentations, Effenberger showed a map that included Türkiye, claiming that the U.S. and NATO had hidden “nuclear bombs” in these areas. The mainstream media, labels him as “conspiracy ideologue”.
Dr. Daniele Ganser / Swiss Historian
Daniele Ganser tries to inform the European public about the unknowns of NATO, Gladio and the deep state with his books. Some of his conferences in Germany were obstructed by some leftist groups. Ganser criticizes the US for consistently disregarding international law.
Prof. Gabrielle Krone-Schmalz / German Journalist, Author
Krone-Schmalz criticizes the deliberate omission of the years 2014 to 2022 in the history of Ukraine. She argues, “We must explain how we got to today based on the cause-and-effect principle; without considering the past of both Russia and Ukraine, no one can understand the objective situation”. She is accused of being “pro-Putin”.
Lisa Fitz / German Cabaret Artist
During the pandemic, Lisa Fitz cited a parliamentary question from a member of parliament of the EU, stating that 5,000 people lost their lives in Europe due to the pandemic” which led to pressures that forced her to leave SWR television. The cabaret artist says, “I have always criticized governments on stage”.
Ken Jebsen / German Journalist
Ken Jebsen hosted “Ken FM” programs on social media for years, but since 2021, his YouTube channel has been shut down. His objective approach to the 9/11 in the US, criticism of the pandemic measures, and comments on Bill Gates’ TED talk about “reducing the world population by 15%” cost him his career. After disappearing from the screens for a while he left Germany.
Prof. Franz Hörmann / Austrian Scientist
Former lecturer at Vienna University of Economics, Franz Hörmann, attracted attention with his book “The End of Money” and his criticism of the monetary system based on “fraud”. For years, Hörmann has argued in conferences that the method of creating money out of nothing by issuing debt is unconstitutional and has tried to explain the “Info digital money system” as an alternative. He was dismissed from the university.
Jasmin Kosubek / German Program Producer
From 2014 to 2021, Jasmin Kosubek produced and presented programs on Russia Today-German TV. Kosubek with the title “The Missing Part” focused on “what is not being talked about”. After sanctions on Russia began, she was forced to leave the RT-German channel in Berlin.
Uwe Behrens / German Economist, Author, China Expert
Uwe Behrens, who spent nearly 30 years in the People’s Republic of China, wrote books about China and the Silk Road. Through conferences on “What We Don’t Know About China”, Behrens tries to enlighten the German public. The media systematically ceased contact with Behrens.
Harvey Friedman / Austrian Author, Philosopher
Through his “Banxter Club” books, Harvey Friedman exposes the network of relations within Austria’s largest banks, claiming that political powers are just “shadows” serving banks, the FED, the Vatican and the IMF. Friedman argues that banks have no cash: “If all citizens want to withdraw their investments at the same time, banks cannot pay, and the greatest crisis of all time will break out”. Friedman also notes that Pentagon intelligence can “intervene with the chips of transportation vehicles” using 568 satellites in the sky. In 2015, he was imprisoned in the city of Graz. The reasons for the trial and what happened to Friedman afterward are unknown. Thousands of signatures had been collected on Change.org for his release.
Jürgen Elsässer / German Journalist
Known for his anti-US and anti-NATO stance, Elsässer worked in the editorial offices of daily leftist newspapers until 2008. In subsequent years, he began to publish the monthly Compact magazine. The “People’s Initiative Against Financial Capital”, which he helped found, included nationalist, democratic, populist, and socialist figures. In later years, he distanced himself from the leftist spectrum and moved towards a more nationalist line. Elsässer claims that Russia is defending itself in the war in Ukraine. Elsässer also criticizes political Islam. His books, such as “Shadow Government” and “The Destruction of the Nation-State and the Leftist Stance” were read much.
Prof. Ulrike Guérot / German Political Scientist
Prof. Guérot claims that after her books “Silence Is Consent and the End of Europe” were published, she was dismissed from her position at the University of Bonn. Observing a sharp polarization in society, politics and the media, Guérot stated “Dividing people into ‘us and them’ only leads to exclusion. Ultimately, we are being dragged into an environment where there is no freedom of thought or democracy”. She also criticized the US and NATO for hindering the internal integration of the European Union.
Eugen Drewermann / German Theologian, Author
During the peak period of the ruling classes and mainstream media using war rhetoric, Eugen Drewermann stood out with his “peace” manifesto and became a symbol of resistance. Drewermann said that the warmongering in Europe and the propaganda are reminiscent of the pre-World War II period. He is also known for his solidarity with the oppressed after leaving the church. The system media has shut its doors to Drewermann too.
Dirk Müller / German Stock Market Expert
Dirk Müller has important remarks on economics, monetary policy and the system of “interest created out of nothing”. Invited to some TV programs in previous years, Müller declared that the world financial system was at its end. Afterward, he was no longer invited to those TV channels.
