“They are preventing France from finding French solutions to its problems.”
Alain Soral…
He is one of the most debated thinkers in France. His ideas are frequently voiced within anti-globalization left and right political movements.
Convicted in France for thought crimes, Soral continues to live in exile.
I spoke with Soral about the political future of France, US-Europe relations, Trump’s America, developments in West Asia, geopolitical realities, and class struggle.
The first part of our interview with Soral, focusing on France and the US, was published last week.
In the second part you will read, we have discussed geopolitics, class struggle, and developments in Ukraine and Iran.
Without a vision of class struggle, is geopolitics alone sufficient to understand the contradictions in the world?
First, I must state that we are all victims of geopolitics. The British Empire passed on its maritime vision to the American Empire. Imperialism has a vision built on naval dominance. A vision without borders, aiming for the nation-state…
Let’s consider the Ukraine issue… Underlying this issue is the Atlanticist strategy of preventing Western Europe from aligning with Russia. This is a geopolitical issue. If the Ukraine issue didn’t exist today, the economic and cultural integration between Western Europe and Russia would deepen.
In other words, a Franco-German-Russian alliance could have become the world’s primary power. It is precisely for this reason that the Atlanticists created an Iron Curtain between Western Europe and Russia via Ukraine. Ukraine is secondary in this matter and is a state that will soon cease to exist due to this war.
This war was also intended to prevent Russia from becoming stronger. It’s impossible to explain the situation in Ukraine solely through class struggle.
Another example: Iran… Iran is a Shiite religious state… It doesn’t have a strategy to expand its borders, but today it’s a target of neoconservatives…
These same neoconservatives had previously lured Saddam Hussein into a trap, inciting him to attack Iran. And it was these same neoconservatives who subsequently tore Iraq apart. Under normal circumstances, as Emmanuel Todd also stated, there is no reason to attack Iran. Attacks on Iran strengthen the regime there. Iran could have evolved towards a modern democracy.
This path had been taken during Mossadegh’s era, but American imperialists carried out a two-pronged regime change. They overthrew Mossadegh and brought Shah Pahlavi to power. When Pahlavi, at one point, wanted to acquire nuclear weapons, they overthrew him and replaced him with Khomeini. I would like to remind you that Khomeini spent many years in France and returned to Iran on an Air France plane.
Returning to our topic; the Atlantic powers have an imperial vision and are opposed to nation-states… The Atlantic powers targeted Arab nation-states in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Lebanon. In doing so, they collaborated with anti-nation-state, pan-Islamist radical Islamists. The Muslim Brotherhood played a role in this destructive project. In line with the interests of globalist-neo-conservative forces, power was given to the Muslim Brotherhood and similar forces for a certain period, and destruction was achieved. This is what was done in Syria through ISIS and similar groups.
We cannot explain these facts through class struggle…
Let’s return to Iran… The country is facing economic difficulties due to the embargo imposed on it. Demonstrations were organized regarding this. The imperialists attempted to manipulate these demonstrations, trying to turn them into something similar to Maidan in Ukraine. Violence, snipers, etc… They aimed for civil war… It’s impossible to explain all this through class struggle. Class struggle certainly exists… But it’s not enough to explain what happened.
Let me rephrase my question… Is it possible to convince the public solely with geopolitical arguments? How can you convince a factory worker by telling them about the geopolitical games being played in Iran and Ukraine?
Of course, it’s very difficult… Now we’re at Carl Schmitt… In school, you instill in children a certain awareness of who is a friend and who is an enemy… First-degree friends, traps, etc… Today in France, there is propaganda fueling conflict between left-wing and right-wing youth. Yet both sides are victims of the same economic and social crisis… These provocations are directed by the same bosses at the top of the pyramid. Rothschild controls the media that incites these provocations.
On the other hand, Bolloré (a large media group) is also helping those responsible for Quentin’s death (The political assassination of Quentin Deranque, a man with ties to right-wing parties, allegedly killed by members of left-wing parties in Lyon on February 14th). Bolloré is also connected to Rothschild. We see that young people on two different political sides are unfortunately being manipulated by the same power centers.
I founded an organization called Egalite et Reconciliation to bring together right-wing and left-wing youth. Our slogan is “Gauche de travail, droit de valeur” (Left of work, right of value)… To get young people out of this artificial trap of conflict… but my resources are very limited. The big channels continue their manipulation. The idea of Judeo-Christianity is being imposed on France by Bolloré. In other words, Christians in the service of Israel…
This movement, which is declining in the US, is being injected into France through Eric Zemmour and others like him. But France is a country with a Catholic tradition…to accept Judeo-Christianity, one must be a Protestant.
That’s precisely why they’re trying to impose their ideas through the issue of “identity.” In France, there’s the phenomenon of immigration, and this is causing crime. Zionists are conducting propaganda in France that equates Muslim immigrant with Palestinians. And they present the Israeli model as a solution. This propaganda is pushing nationalist youth towards Zionism.
They are preventing France from finding French solutions to its problems. Israel is the force behind these manipulations… National Rally used to criticize the Schengen Area and the European Union on immigration. Now they have developed a narrative that the immigration problem can be solved with measures similar to those taken by Israel.
This manipulation continues. Returning to the beginning of the interview, the Quentin incident is pitting young people who support Le Pen against those who support Mélenchon. This prevents these two parties, which represent the people, from uniting. This is a social engineering tactic. They did something similar in Italy in the 1970s… during the period when Gladio was active…
The Red Brigades… Are you talking about the killing of Aldo Moro…?
Yes, exactly… There are young people who want to get involved in politics, and their sensitivities are being manipulated by the media, thus concealing the real agenda.
This is a problem of the degenerate West… We are in chaos. We are in a situation similar to the pre-civil war situation in France. And in the West, we are in a situation similar to the pre-world war situation. If Trump obeys Netanyahu and attacks Iran, things could end badly. On one side, there is the weakening and increasingly aggressive Atlantic-Zionist Empire, and on the other, the rising BRICS and multipolarity…
