The Center for National Strategy (USMER) has organized an international conference on the Eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea on July 18 and 19 in Istanbul, Türkiye. Today, we present the inaugural speech held by Dr. Doğu Perinçek, Chairman of the Vatan Party (Türkiye).
Dear Friends,
You have come to our conference from seven continents, bringing your states’ resolve for independence and sovereignty, and your nations’ desire for freedom, and determination to produce.
On behalf of the Vatan Party, I greet you all with my deepest feelings of solidarity and respect.
Here, we are gathered on the frontline of the Eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
We are on the front line of humanity.
The Eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea have become the focal point of global conflict and confrontation for a while now.
The United States’ new strategy centers on the Eastern Mediterranean.
Israel’s aggression threatens this region, which is our shared homeland.
Our blue homelands also extend across the Black Sea and the Mediterranean.
Europe’s globalists are seized by a new armament fever (hysteria), and they identify their enemies by looking towards the East, that is, looking at us.
A single front has emerged from the Caucasus to Russia’s front in Ukraine, from the Black Sea to the Eastern Mediterranean, via Cyprus, Syria, and Palestine to the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman.
We are all on this same front.
There are no separate fronts; there is only one common front.
On this very front, the Syrian Arab Republic and its people are braving Israel’s attacks, to uphold the integrity of their state and the unity of their nation. Our hearts are beating in Syria, right now.
On the Black Sea, Russia is fighting against Atlantic imperialists’ attempt to expand NATO towards the East. A NATO expanding towards the East is a NATO marching on all of us. A NATO expanding towards the East is a NATO marching towards death. Back in time, clad in armor, the Teutonic Knights and Hitler had also marched in the same direction, into the swamp. Alexander Nevsky, Kuduzov, and the heroes of the Second World War had fought them back then and are once again marching towards victory now.
The State of Palestine and its people are writing a heroic saga against US imperialism and the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza and the West Bank. Yasser Arafat, Nasrallah, Heniyye and Yahya Sinwar, and all the martyrs of Palestine and Lebanon have risen from their graves and are fighting. Our nine comrades martyred in the resistance of Nahrel Bared in Palestine in 1973 have also risen from their graves, and led by our Central Committee member Bora Gözen, they have also joined the fight. Our pledge of loyalty to Palestine is written in the blood of our martyrs.
The mujahideen of Yemen are in a fight against Israeli Zionism for us all. We salute them.
The State of Iran and its people have overwhelmed Israel and the United States in the 12-Day War. Qasem Soleimani has carried to the present day the millennia old bravery of the legendary Iranian hero Rustam.
The US imperialism’s and Israeli Zionism’s plans for a Second Israel, this time under the name ‘Kurdistan’, has been thwarted. The PKK is laying down its arms with the aim of integrating with the Turkish State and the Turkish Nation.
The Arabs have a proverb based on millennia of experience: ‘El esliha tehkim âle kelâm’, which may be translated as: ‘The weapon’s words dominate all other words.’
In the face of the weapons of the states and peoples of the Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean defending their states’ independence and homelands, the US imperialism, Zelenskyy Nazism and Israeli Zionism have but one choice: They have to lower their guns!
The great truth shedding light on the upcoming period is crystallized in the power of the weapons held by national states.
Force is determining and shall continue to determine the outcome of the confrontations in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea. It is only through force that a major war can be prevented. The first and foremost factor that will prevent a major war is the determination of our states, their ability to mobilize our nations, the supreme fighting power of our armed forces, and the unity of our nations and states.
The United States’ and Israel’s aggression cannot be thwarted through appeals to the global masters -nor through calls on the ‘international community’ to intervene. This is the first truth.
The second truth is, as the states and peoples of the Eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea, we shall unite. Division and isolation are tantamount to surrendering to the enemy’s plan. Looking askance at each other is service to the enemy. Collaboration with imperialism and Zionism, bigoted nationalism towards neighbors, religious fanaticism, sectarianism, and the ‘I don’t care’ attitude, all favor the enemy’s plan. Here, we are gathered to thwart that plan.
We shall not abandon our brothers and sisters.
We shall stand together on every frontline.
On the Black Sea, we shall stand alongside Russia and Türkiye.
In Palestine, we shall all be Palestinians. Hereby we declare: We are all Palestinians!
In Syria, we shall all join forces for Syria’s integrity and unity.
We shall all mobilize our rich experience in alliances, expanding across the People’s Republic of China, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and Vietnam in Asia, Libya, and Algeria in Africa, and Venezuela, Mexico and Cuba in Latin America.
The US imperialism, Israel, Greece, and the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus have forged an armed alliance in the Eastern Mediterranean. They are organizing military exercises called Noble Dina and Nemesis. These are scenarios of revenge, steeped in references to the Torah and Greek mythology. The waters surrounding Cyprus are heating up. Their guns are aimed at us all. Unity against the US-Israeli plans in the Eastern Mediterranean is the humanity’s cause today.
In the Strait of Hormuz, the Suez Canal and the Red Sea, we shall all be Iranians and Arabs! We shall not surrender these energy routes to the US imperialism.
Our shared duty is acknowledging Crimea as Russian territory, as well as recognizing Abkhazia and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. We shall strengthen these frontline in the fight against imperialism and Zionism.
Dear Friends,
As the guardians of the Straits of Istanbul and Çanakkale, we hereby promise you the following: The warlords of the Atlantic shall not pass! Only their dead may pass through the Straits!
The solidarity against the colored revolutions set up by the CIA and Mossad on our domestic fronts is in continuation of our unity along the external front. We shall remain united and strong on the domestic fronts of our countries as well.

The global masters’ establishment is in a state of collapse and disintegration. The domination of the Dollar is crumbling. The self-interest, selfishness, and individualism of the imperialist capitalist system have brought nothing but destruction and decadence to humanity. They have inflicted annihilation upon our seas, our rivers, our forests, that is, nature as a whole. This system cannot be amended and is in collapse.
A brand-new world is being built. A new civilization is on the rise in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Together, we are raising high our banner that reads “independence of National States, Humanism, People’s Power, Public Ownership, Sharing, Enlightenment, Freedom and Revolutionary Democracy”, and we are carrying it to the future of humanity.
I hope that our conference will be fruitful and successful.
